Oh I do like to knit beside the seaside...

I had just about the best time in Cornwall this weekend at the wonderful
a boutique, family-run hotel with the best Eco ethos, practise and friendliest service I have ever encountered.

Bedruthen was the most beautiful setting for a knitting weekend workshop for, as it turned out, mostly novice knitters and a few with a little rusty know-how.

It was a pleasure to be invited and I just wanted to say thank you so very much to Kitty, Clair, Deborah, Josie, Rosalind, Juliet, Lydia, Michelle and Rachael...you were absolute stars!
and of course Olivia Harris for making us all so welcome.

Sally and I had such a great time, with much knitty practise participated in, exchanging of tips and techniques and crafting of tea cosies...

So looking forward to returning for the next weekend workshop break in November, just in time to knit Christmas gifts.

Be sure to check out Bedruthen Steps for details of my next workshop,
and other interesting craft breaks, or just for a lovely few days away by the sea!

  1. This sounds lovely, I'm a tad jealous! Can't wait to get down to Cornwall when it warms up a bit and get stuck into the knitting when the boy is out in the surf :-) x

  2. I must make more effort to find out when weekends like this are on, your's sounds perfect
